WESTAMPTON REC. - YOUTH VOLLEYBALL CLINIC
Objectives: The goal of this youth volleyball program is to teach children early volleyball skills, teamwork, and character development.
Fundamental Skills Development:
Teach children basic volleyball skills like passing, serving, setting and spiking. This helps children with improving hand-eye coordination, agility and motor skills.
Teamwork and Communication:
Fosters teamwork, communication, leadership, and discipline as players work together to achieve a common goal,learn how to work together, share responsibilities, and support their teammates.
Physical Fitness:
Develops agility, strength, cardiovascular health, and hand-eye coordination through jumping, diving, and quick movements.
Discipline and Focus:
Children develop discipline through practice, following rules, and maintaining focus during games and drills.
Building Confidence:
Success in learning and improving volleyball skills can boost children’s self-confidence and self-esteem.
Learning Sportsmanship:
Teaching respect for opponents, officials and teammates helps to instill values like fairness, humility and grace in victory or defeat.
Developing Strategic and Thinking:
Enhances strategic thinking, focus, and decision-making as players anticipate plays.

Week 1: Platform Passing
Week 2: Setting & Hitting
Week 3: Passing & Setting & Hitting
Week 4: Serving & Serve Receive
Week 5: Skills Recap & Scrimmage
Week 6: Skills Recap & Scrimmage
Week 7: Games
Fee: $100 per player
Who: 1st Grade through 8th grade.
Where: Sessions will be held at the Westampton Middle School Gym located at 700 Rancocas Road, Westampton, N.J. 08060.
When: Sessions will be held on Mondays starting April 13th,
7 weeks in total.
