THERE'S MORE TO FALL THAN JUST SOCCER!
Established in 2013, the RV Youth Field Hockey League was created to introduce girls in our community to the sport of field hockey.
The goals of this league are to stimulate a love for the game by immersing the player in the sport and giving the participant the opportunities and training essential for her improvement. Players will be introduced to the game and exposed to competition on various age and skill appropriate levels. Over the course of the season, the player's enthusiasm and self-confidence will grow along with her skills.
SEASON DETAILS
The Mini Devils meet on Saturday mornings (starting the Saturday after Labor Day). We will run clinic style sessions to work on skills and drills. The Minis will play small games against each other. Towards the end of the season, the Mini Devils may participate in league "play days" against other local town teams in the Burlington County Youth Field Hockey League, to play small 7 v 7 games. **MINI DEVIL SESSIONS WILL BE HELD AT THE WESTAMPTON SPORTS COMPLEX, 301 BRIDGE STREET, WESTAMPTON, NJ 08060.
The Junior and Senior Devils meet once a week for 90 minutes. Our practice night(s) will be determined soon. Both divisions kick off their season in mid-end of August with a four practice "pre-season" to determine teams and teach/review key fundamental skills. **ALL PRACTICES WILL BE HELD AT THE WESTAMPTON SPORTS COMPLEX, 301 BRIDGE STREET, WESTAMPTON, NJ 08060.
Juniors play their games on Saturdays and Seniors play on Sundays, against other teams in the Burlington County Scholastic League. There are occasional Friday night games, on local turf fields that have lights!
