NEW CAMPS

Program Description: Youth speed, agility, and coordination program is for all beginner athletes’ grades K-5. Each athlete will learn proper running techniques, dynamic warm-ups, Brazilian coordination drills, age appropriate plyometrics, over-speed and resistance running, and agility drills. Proper techniques will be taught, and then fun games will be used to implement the techniques learned.
Necessities: Each athlete should wear comfortable clothing to camp and bring running shoes/sneakers/cleats, a towel, and water.
Camp: Handstand/Cartwheel Camp (drills, techniques, and games); will rotate daily.
Grades: Kindergarten & up
Cost: $75.00 for each weekly session – 1 session offered
Instructor: USAG certified instructor Julianna Roland & staff
- Dates: Monday, July 21st, through Thursday, July 24th (rain date, Friday, July 25th)
Program Description: An introduction to Acro style dance starting with the basics of Handstand and Cartwheel for ages 5 & up. A fun and exciting way to have your young dancers learn fun tricks. Class size is 15 max participants.
CAMPS: HIGHLIGHTS & NOTES
- All camps $75 per week, unless noted.
- Environment is safe and structured.
- Instructors are PE, CPR, and first-aid certified & have teaching and coaching experience with all age groups.
- Each participant should wear comfortable clothes, socks, and sneakers and be ready to participate.
- Campers are encouraged to bring any equipment needed for specific camp.
- The camp will offer a juice box and snack daily. During the later break, ice pops will be supplied. If a camper needs more water during camp, a dedicated counselor will be in charge of filling the water bottle for the camper. The dedicated counselor will also monitor the restrooms and hand out snacks and sanitize and disinfect where needed.
- The camp will be held if a light to moderate rain is predicted. If it’s raining hard in the morning or a storm is forecasted, we will send out an update through the email system. If we cancel the session, we will use the rain date.
- On the last day of camp, we will hand out Philadelphia water ice cups to all participants.
- If it rains once camp has begun, we will shelter campers as best as possible until parents are notified to pick them up ASAP. Camp will continue if rain is light to moderate and no danger is foreseen.
